Cellulite is a term for the dermal, lumpy and dimpling appearance caused by the deposits of underlying adipose tissue and stuck connective fascia.
It occurs due to poor blood circulation, capillary and lymphatic clogs, and buildup of toxins in the body.
As a result, body tissue becomes weak and under nourished, and toxins trap themselves in and around fat cells, particularly in the subcutaneous layer.
Cellulite can affect any person, of any size or weight, generally showing up in the abdominal, thigh, hip, and buttocks area.
Almost all women (and some men) show some degree of cellulite on their bodies.
Though there are many theories out there in regards to the reduction or elimination of cellulite, we know that diet, exercise and water aren’t enough.
Cellulite and Lymph
Since cellulite is caused by lymphatic congestion, the first step in healing cellulite is to decrease the load on the lymphatic system.
This system is often described as the garbage disposal system for your cells.
Reducing the amount of “garbage” that comes into the body will result in a direct decrease in the amount of work required of the lymphatic system and, consequently, an improvement in lymphatic health. A trash bin is a lot easier to empty when it’s not overflowing.
Detoxification techniques and therapies are designed to aid the body in its natural process of clearing out toxins.
One of the most powerful and effective detoxification techniques is cupping.
Due to the osmotic nature of the body, cupping pulls toxins out of the skin as it moves and drains the lymph.
Cupping therapy that can effectively reduce and often eliminate cellulite altogether. The cups work very effectively for removing swelling, local fat elimination, accelerating healing of scar tissue and stretch marks and restoring skin compactness in problem areas of the body.
Cupping Massage also increases blood circulation and stimulates lymph flow. It removes the swelling and eliminates toxins, clearing away any stagnation.
It also breaks up the fatty tissues or cellulite deposits, which in turn make the skin firm and smooth. During cupping massage, the skin develops collagen and elastin, which improves skin texture and tone.
Before you start:
You must know that there might be some bruising to the treated area and it can become very uncomfortable at the beginning of the session as the process of breaking down the impacted tissue occurs.
During each session, you will notice, as the treatment progresses, the discomfort becomes less and that’s a sure indication the fat and cellulite tissue is softening.
You will feel the difference right away and after approximately 4-5 treatments, you both will see the difference.
